Clicks Doubling Every Month Since Launch
Fast Forward Plots & Property · Forestry mulching & food plots · New Era, Michigan
Fast Forward Plots' organic clicks have roughly doubled every month since their new site launched in late March 2026: 3 in March, 4 in April, 27 in May, 48 in June - and 88 in just the first three weeks of July, pacing around 130 for the month. Impressions went from 288 a month to over 7,400.
(All numbers pulled live from Google Search Console, July 22, 2026.)
Where They Started
Aaron Aebig started Fast Forward Plots with one tractor while he was still in high school. Today he runs habitat, food-plot, and forestry-mulching work across West Michigan for hunters and rural landowners. He's the kind of owner who'd rather be in the machine than behind a keyboard - which is exactly why the old website sat untouched for about a year.
The old site was a hosted website-builder page: six thin pages, a services page of roughly 110 words, no meta descriptions, no schema, no Search Console, no service-area pages, no blog. Leads came from word of mouth and Facebook.
What Brandloc Built
A complete rebuild. The old site was replaced with a fast, modern site launched in late March 2026 - real service pages, service-area pages, and a homepage that now earns a 7.8% click-through rate in search results.
A blog that actually ranks. Sixteen posts published at roughly two per week since May, targeting the questions Michigan landowners actually search. It worked fast: blog posts now drive 74% of all organic clicks. One post alone - the Michigan land-clearing cost guide - accounts for 46% of clicks, ranking around position 7 for high-volume cost searches. The content even shows up in AI-assistant answers; GSC logs conversational queries like “2.8 acres, about how much would that cost” landing on the site.
A full conversion sprint (shipped July 17, 2026). Traffic without lead capture is a leaky bucket, so we plumbed it:
- ✓Quote form embedded on all 16 blog posts, plus two mid-article call-to-action bands per post
- ✓Mobile sticky call bar that appears immediately, and a tap-to-call button in the mobile header
- ✓Exit-intent offer wired straight into the CRM
- ✓GA4 conversion tracking: a lead event that fires only on confirmed delivery, and a phone-click event sitewide
- ✓Hardened lead delivery - every form posts into GoHighLevel with fail-safe error handling, verified live in production
- ✓A rendering fix so search engines see the full page content, not blank sections
The Results
| Month (2026) | Organic clicks | Impressions |
|---|---|---|
| March (site launched late March) | 3 | 288 |
| April | 4 | 591 |
| May | 27 | 2,382 |
| June | 48 | 5,272 |
| July (through the 21st) | 88 | 7,429 |
- ✓Clicks roughly doubling month over month - July already at 88 with ten days left in the data.
- ✓Homepage ranking positions 4-6 for its core terms with a 7.8% CTR.
- ✓74% of clicks come from the blog - content built in the last three months, on a domain that had almost no search presence before.
- ✓Meanwhile, two of the three named local competitors have gone digitally dark - one domain no longer resolves, another redirects to an unrelated company. The field is wide open.

What's Next
The traffic engine is proven; the July conversion sprint connected it to the phone. Next: Google Business Profile build-out and a review push, with all assets drafted and ready, plus getting every service page fully indexed. The measure that matters from here is booked jobs rather than clicks - now that the tracking is finally in place to see them.
Traffic that doubles monthly doesn't happen by accident. Brandloc builds sites and content engines for forestry, land-clearing, and outdoor service companies.
